Coffee On Top | Puig d’Afrou | Chapter One
Coffee on top represents a new type of cycling, not about watts, not about time. Just a day out with our bike and a good coffee with a simple rule; I make the coffee, you bring your fav mug and we share it on top of a climb
For the first one, I choose Puig d’Afrou a not know climb not far from Girona (Gravel) with steep sections but really enjoyable with a stunning view. I choose this one because I always wanted to climb it in autumn for the colours, and yes, it was amazing, and the views during the ride and on the top was worth the effort.
When you arrive at the top you have a 360º view of all mountains around and different benches to sit, in this case, perfect to enjoy the coffee.
On today’s ride joined me my friend Xavi, I know he loves Barcelona roaster Familia Osorio, so I made a filter coffee from Colombia, La Ilusión; nice floral and delicate taste.
Xavi brought his favourite mug, the Grinduro (Klean Kanteen – love the brand!)
Hope to discover different climbs thought this kind of rides, and hopefully, when this covid thing goes away we can share it out of the screen.
